Hi Larah,
He is doing just great. He's such an awesome boy! There is so much
to tell you. He's learned his name, sits on command and is potty trained.
We love seeing him wag his tail and greet us when we walk in the room.
We all love that little guy. Someone is always playing w/him, taking
him out, and just lying w/him. We went to a retirement party on a Sat night, and my daughter insisted on coming over to babysit him. He really is a healthy & happy puppy who gives us so much pleasure.
These are just a few of the pictures we have of Kosmo.
Thanks,
Gail

Remy continues to be just a joy and is an absolute favorite of all of ours. He has the best Golden traits of any of our dogs - loves the water (even puddles, jumps off the dock), always has something in his mouth (tennis ball, stick, piece of clothing, toy), retrieves naturally (none of our others have done this) and loves to be with us at all times. He gets bathed regularly as he is forever rolling in "good" smelling things on our walks in the nearby woods and puts up with brushing to get rid of the burrs he picks up. His favorite thing is waking up Mark in the morning. He waits for me to open the door, gets a piece of clothing from the floor, jumps on the bed with Mark and "sings" or "talks" to him until Mark gets out of bed. His tail is going the whole time. It is a highlight of the day for both of them.
People are constantly amazed that he is only 2 1/2 - he is so calm and well behaved. When I read your description of Story, I think he gets this from her. He is sharp and always ready to go, but has the ability to turn it off and just lie at my feet while I work at home.
Best, Cherry C. |

Hi Larah, I wanted to let you how are little guy is doing. First, he looks like he has already grown a couple of inches! We love him so much. His name is Lucas. What a personality! By the next morning he seemed completely okay with the leash, stares out at the salt marsh like he is bound to be a hunter, and is doing pretty well with potty training. We are so happy to have him and I just wanted you to know how quickly he adapted and that he is a very happy pup!
Thank you so very much! Heather Cully

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi Larah and Ray, I cannot tell you how much our hearts have grown in the past 24 hours since we first laid eyes on Penny Lane! First I'd like to say how much of a courageous pup she is. She didn't whimper or whine on the ride home. She just slept in Gill's lap and seemed content. When we arrived home she started to get nervous and shake. We brought her inside and more of the same ensued. We put up her new crate and she crawled in and slept for about another hour. Afterwards... she just blossomed! She was playful, trusting, loving, and gentle. We had an absolute ball watching her open up. We took her out every hour on the hour and she even knew exactly what it was for. She had two accidents indoors but other than that she's been AMAZING! I can't believe how instinctual she is when it comes to going outside to do her business. Its like she was already house trained. I had expected typical clean-up duty for a week or two until she started to get the hang of it. But now I'm fairly certain she'll be good to go within the week. Regardless... she's been unreal in adjusting to her new life. We brought her in to the bedroom last night and I put her right next to my side of the bed. We got her all riled up for about thirty minutes prior to bed time, playing with all her toys and using her pull toy. So when we finally decided to wind it down she was good and tuckered out... and she slept clear through the night up until about 7:30 this morning! Not a whimper! I couldn't believe it. I was figuring on definitely some whimpering and maybe getting up 3 or 4 times to pick her up, cuddle her, maybe take her outside once or twice. In any event, I've included some pictures of Penny (and one or two of her new family mates, Trot and Sox). Gillian and I couldn't be more grateful for the addition to our family or more grateful at the unbelievably mature nature of this amazing puppy. Simply amazing. We both tip our caps to your breeding and raising program. You have produced a superior dog. With love and best wishes for an excellent February, Gillian and Chris |
